Risk Management Incorporated (RMI), a Shirley, Massachusetts-based health and environmental consulting company next to Devens, started work on the development of Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs) for structural repair of two facilities under an EPA Brownfield's Grant, plus documentation and assessment of hazardous materials impacting these building, which include Asbestos, Lead, PCBs and TPH. Subsequently, it is anticipated that RMI will conduct CLP Data Validation of the assessment results for Hazardous Materials and prepare EPA RAGs Human Health & Environmental Risk Assessments for the facilities, the findings of which will be used to facilitate Site closure.
RMI specializes in QAPP development for sites impacted by hazardous chemicals and radionuclides, plus analysis, evaluation, and CLP validation of laboratory data for petroleum contaminants, metals, chlorinated solvents, 1-4,Dioxane, PFAFs, PCBs, and PAHs associated with coal, coal ash, and tar deposits, in order to evaluate cumulative risks to human health and the environment from potential exposures to these chemicals in accordance with the requirements of U.S. EPA CERCLA, RCRA Title D, the MA - MCP, CT - RSRs, NY -NYSDEC, RI - RIDEM - VCPs and other state or EPA regulatory programs.
